Wow. I am in a state of sorry after reading this. Mrs. Woods was my fifth grade teacher at SVDP along with my grandmother, Mrs. Hargraves. She was my first teacher that I had a SVDP transferring from a different school that year. She was so amazing and so caring. I remember the books we read, the leadership board we had, and the way she decorated her classroom. My love to her family.

Mrs. Woods will always be a teacher I remember. It's really amazing the impact our educators have on us, especially the good ones. She inspired me to love words, and I loved when she used the word "exquisite." Thank you, Mrs. Woods.

I knew Anne through her membership with Houston Paralegal Association.  Anne was a sweet and lovely person and will be missed. My deepest condolences to her mother and her family. - Ruth S. Conley

So sorry to hear of Anne's passing. She was a lovely person, a vivacious teacher, and always had a sweet, warm smile. I taught school with Anne for many years, my husband and I shared many parties and dinners with her and Bill, and we will always have fond memories of our times together both at work and play. We send our deepest condolences.
