Anne Wood

Anne Elizabeth Clark Wood, born in Richmond, Virginia July 29, 1924 and a resident of Spring Branch in Houston, Texas since 1958, departed this Valley of Tears on June 2, 2017 thus closing the circle of her earthly sojourn. She lived, blessing her family with love and devotion, informed by her faith, teaching us the lessons of humility and perseverance by lifelong example.

Anne is preceded in death by her husband Glen Lynn Wood and her grandson Joshua Lynn Wood. She is survived by her five children: Mark Eugene Wood and spouse Kathleen Wood, Lynne Anne Wood, Gail Theresa Wood-Brooks and spouse Frank Brooks, Richard Glen Wood and spouse Patrice Wood, and Michael Sean Wood and spouse Amy Wood.

Anne is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren whom she loved quietly, devotedly and without restraint.

Grandchildren: Mark Eugene Wood, Jr., Kevin Charles Wood, Steven Thomas Wood, Jaaron Lee Wood, Patricia Hollis Wood, Otto Richard Wood, Laurel Kathleen Andrews, Remy Wood Rivera, Sean Glen Wood and Hannah Marie Wood.

Great grandchildren: Conner Ashton Wood, Brooke Renee Wood, Clark James Wood, Wyatt Joshua Wood, Aiden James Wood, Mallory Grace Wood, Kendra Joy Wood, and Chapman Walter Wood.

Funeral Mass and reception will be held Friday June 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham, 7809 Shady Villa Lane, Houston, TX 77055.
