Dr. Anne Perrin passed away gently on Sunday, August 11, 2013 after a 32-month fight with Glioblastoma Multiforme. Anne was born in Houston, Texas, on November 26, 1948 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was preceded into death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Perrin. She is survived by her siblings and their families: Susan and Joe Salvaggio and Vincent; Denise and Hans Schmitt; Steve Perrin; Matt Perrin; and David and Jeanette Perrin and Michael and Courtney. She is also survived by her friend Elizabeth Kessler, her dear friends, David and Sherree Kessler and Zoey Elizabeth; her close friend and caretaker Patti Diller; and her 14 year-old kitty, Gabby. Additionally, Anne is survived by the hundreds of students she taught and loved over the years at Incarnate Word Academy, Spring High School, Westfield High School, and University of Houston. Anne’s writings, published in several composition textbooks attest to her skills, her humor, and her desire to help students improve their writing skills.
