Anna Mary Monaghan

Anna (Collerain) Monaghan of Houston, Texas was born on January the 7th, 1932. She passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the age of 83. Anna graduated from Saint Agnes Academy and attended The University of Saint Thomas. She was a charter member of Saint Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Anna was married to John Monaghan and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She was the loving mother of two sons, Michael and Ronald. She is preceded in death by her parents John F. and Sudie Collerain, brothers John and Tom Collerain and Son Michael Monaghan. Anna is survived by her husband John and son Ronald Monaghan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook St., Houston, TX 77034. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from 5-9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM. The funeral liturgy will take place on Thursday, April 30 at 10AM with interment immediately following. All services will take place in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale.
