Dinh Thi Nam, or Anna, as she was known, was born on September 16, 1951, in Saigon, Vietnam, to her parents Dinh Ky Ngo and Lam Thi Loi. Anna grew up in a large and loving family, being one of eight
children.
In 1967, Anna met Nguyen Nhut Quang, also known as Richard, who became her lifelong partner and the love of her life. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 23, 2023, marking a half-century of love and dedication to each other. Despite having only one child, Nguyen Nhut Nam Phuong, Anna and Richard were blessed with four grandchildren - Kolbi, Kayla, Ky, and Kora - whom they both spoiled and loved dearly.
Anna's warm and welcoming nature was a bright light in the lives of those around her. Her kind heart, infectious smile, and generous spirit were not just traits, but the essence of who she was. She was a caring and compassionate soul, loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Anna's devotion to her roles as a wife, mother, Ba Ngoai (grandmother), sister, aunt, and friend was unwavering, and she was
always there, a comforting presence, whenever her loved ones needed her.
The loss of Anna has left a profound void in the lives of her family and friends, a void that can never be filled. The depth of their sorrow is immeasurable, a testament to the impact Anna had on their lives. She will be remembered as a remarkable person, her memory forever etched in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her. Anna is survived by her loving husband, Richard Quang Nguyen, her daughter, Phuong, her son-in-law, Dreand, and her grandbabies - Kolbi, Kayla, Ky, and Kora. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends, all of whom she touched with her kindness.
