Ann Marie Johnson, 85, of Spring, Texas gained her angel wings on June 30, 2020. Born in Colfax, Louisiana to Leonard Richard and Mary (Griffin) Deville she spent her life in Louisiana as a child and young adult. She met the love of her life, Johnny Johnson and from that union three daughters were born.
Not only was Ann a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was cherished and loved by many friends. Ann had a strong faith, and great love for her savior and her church family. Ann was a kind, giving person who always made everyone she met feel like family. She will be missed by many.
Ann was reunited in heaven with her parents Leonard and Mary; husband Johnny Johnson; and brothers Claude and L.R. Deville.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Aleta and Bob Chipman, Venetia and Robert Reagan and Shawyn Pelham; grandchildren Brette Reagan, Justin Chipman, Alex Pelham Hargrave and Peyton Pelham and great-grandchildren Henley Orellana and Luca Pelham.
Ann is also survived by her sister, Jewell Chevallier. Through the years, Jewell went above and beyond to take care of her little sister and was always there for Ann in the good times, the trying times and the times in between. Their relationship was very strong and the love for Jewell carried on to Ann’s children, who admire their Aunt and appreciate her commitment to their family over the years.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 8 from 12-2pm in the Chapel at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home 13102 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77060. Funeral Services will be held immediately afterwards. Due to current health restrictions, a face mask is required to attend and a limit on attendees due to social distancing will be in effect.
