Ann L. Collins, 80, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2018. She was born in Petal, Mississippi, on May 27, 1937 to Joseph and Vera Seale. She graduated from high school in South Carolina. She was married to Dan Holden, with whom she had three sons. She was later married to Walter Collins until his death in 2012.
Ann enjoyed being outdoors, especially at the beach or during drives to look at wild flowers. She also enjoyed water skiing, even though she didn’t learn to swim until years later. She also loved traveling to many parts of the US, including Hawaii and Alaska. Ann was quite passionate about her family and the holidays. Christmas was her favorite. She loved holiday baking, shopping, and decorating. Above all, Ann adored being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Vera Seale, brother Phillip, and husband Walter Collins. She is survived by her sons Daniel and wife Sheryl, Mark, and Chad Holden; grandchildren Cody, Courtney, and Jason Holden; and his wife Whitney and son Lee . She is also survived by her brother Clifton Seale and wife Diane, sister Bonnie Sciba, and a dozen nieces and nephews.
