Angelita G. Garcia

Angelita G. Garcia, age 87, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Born in Rivera, Texas, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always helped those in need. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Antonio Manuel Garcia, Sr.; daughter, Gloria Ramirez; sons, David Garcia and Rudy Olgin; grandson, Manuel I. Iracheta; and son-in-law, Emilio Gonzales. Survived by daughters, Sylvia Tristan and husband David, Virginia Garcia and husband Scott Gutierrez, Cynthia Gonzales, Lisa Modisette and husband Bill, and Melva Olgin; sons, Ricardo Gutierrez, Antonio M. Garcia, Jr. and wife Virginia, Omar Garcia and wife Dolores, and Martin Garcia; 32 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; brothers, Faustino Gutierrez and wife Maria, and Matias Gutierrez and wife Arminda; numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Lane, Houston, Texas 77037. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
