Angelica Peña

Our dear mother Angelica Peña sadly passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 76. She was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on January 20, 1947, and she then later made Houston, Texas her permanent home. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her.

Angelica was predeceased in death by her parents Camilo and Siria Peña. She is survived by her children, Lilia Hans Cater (Larry Cater), Jerry Hans (Jackie Hans), Betty Hans, Sandra Hans (Fernando Santillan), and Victor Hans (Yvette De La Cruz). Her grandchildren, Lauranette Lerma, Stephanie Bashinski, Jerry Hans, Veronica Briz, Roberto Cantu, Gabriel Cantu, Richard Castillo, Christian Edwards, and Emmanuel Edwards. Her great grandchildren, Isaac E Garcia, Jeremiah Ovalle, Briella Ovalle, Anaiah Lerma, Isaiah Ocanas, Joshua Ocanas, Layla Ocanas, Carina Herman, Isaiah Edwards, Adrian Edwards, Emily Cantu, Robert Cantu Jr, and Melanie Cantu. Her brother’s and sister’s, Ismael Peña, Israel Peña, Efrain Peña, Joel Peña, Olga San Juan, and Yolanda Martinez.

A visitation for Angelica will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A burial will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
