Angel Orona, 75 years of age has gone to be with the Lord on December 20, 2021. Angel Orona is preceded in death by his wife Hortencia S. Orona, his grandchild Gabriel Alexander Barrientos-Orona and his mother Gabriela Orona. Angel was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on September 30, 1946. Angel was a man of many trades. For many years he worked as a machinist, he was a woodworker, a mechanic, electrician, plumber and a landscaper. With his skill of craftsmanship he would teach his children that something that is no longer wanted can become something of use. He always had a way to fix anything they asked of him. One of his many hobbies was listening to and enjoying Spanish music. Most of all Angel loved his children, grandchildren and his great-grandchildren so very much.
Angel is survived by his children, Rosario Orona-Perez, Berta Orona-Hernandez (Husband Fernando Hernandez), Gabriel S. Orona (Wife Blanca Orona) and Laura Orona-Elizondo (Husband Bernave Elizondo III). Granchildren, Yvette Iman Orona (Husband Jesus Rodriguez), Placido Angel Renteria, Clarissa Marie Orona, Joel Alexander Renteria, Esmeralda Brianna Elizondo, Makayla Marie Orona, Adrian Alexander Orona, Emmanuel Angel Elizondo, Estevan Ezekiel Elizondo and Eliana Esperanza Elizondo. Great-Grandchildren, Emily Iman Rodriguez, Amaya Lizette Rodriguez, Neveah Beatrice Renteria, Noah Romeo Rodriguez, Mariah Jade Renteria, Gabriel Luis Hernandez and his dog Layla Orona.
A visitation for Angel will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
