Andrew Jackson Allen, Jr., 62, passed away on October 4, 2010 and joined those who preceded him in death; parents: Andrew & Emogene Allen; brother-in-law, Danny Gable. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dorothy; children: Andrew “Andy” Allen, Laura Marie Lara-Vera & husband Gabriel; grandchildren: Brittney Shontell Jackson, Andrew J. Allen, IV & Valkyrie Julia-Rosa Lara-Vera; sister, Patricia Fluharty & husband John; sister-in-law, Connie Gable; nieces: Pam Fitch & husband Lonnie, Eva Laird & husband Chris; nephews: Hardy Johnson & wife Laura, Daniel Gable & wife Vicki; along with numerous cousins, friends & neighbors. Visitation will be from 10AM until the start of the ceremony at 1PM on Thursday, October 7th at Brookside Funeral Home.
