Ana (Anna) Maria Reyes, 87, of Houston Texas passed into eternal rest on July 5, 2021. She was born July 4, 1934 to parents Praxedes Gomez and Felistas Bocanegro in Waelder, Texas. Anna became the wife of Henry J. Reyes on December 21, 1959. She had a career as a cafeteria worker for North Forest ISD. Church and gardening were her passions.
Left to cherish Anna's memories are children: Esteve Reyes, Lydia Reyes, Ruben Reyes, grandchildren: Rachel Reyes-Acuna, Marcella Reyes, Nisa Reyes, Anela Reyes, Isaiah J. Reyes, great-grandchildren: Mariah Paez, Vincent Paez, Analyah Acuna, siblings: Guillermo Gomez, Carol Cameron and Joe Gomez.
Family and friends will gather at Brookside Funeral Home, Cemetery and Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas for services. Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow.
