Amy H. Gatlin

Amy Helene Gatlin, 67, was born February 5, 1955, and died December 20, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Erwin Rauder, and her husband, Frank Gatlin. She is survived by her mother, Mary Rauder, brother Ludwig Rauder and wife Sandy, niece Lindsay Rauder and nephews Garret Rauder and Chace Rauder and his wife Elizabeth. She was an animal lover and leaves behind her beloved dog Lillie Belle.

She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston. She graduated from Scarborough High School in Houston and Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. She was a nurse for Memorial Hermann for 12 years. She married Frank Gatlin and lived and worked with him in Canton, Texas for several years. After her husband’s death in 2010, she moved back to Houston to live and care for her mother. She loved ranch life and had a second home in Muldoon, Texas near her family’s ranch.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Burial was held December 28, 2022, at Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon, Texas.
