Amelia Fuentez Trejo

Amelia Fuentez Trejo "Emily" gained her angel wings on May 18th, 2023, at her home in Pasadena, TX at age 65. Amelia’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her, understand that her existence and the imprint she left in our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. She was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master cook and was known for her famous tamales. She loved listening to music and dancing. She would many times grab her grandchildren to show them how to dance! She loved spending time with her sisters, brothers, children, and grandchildren. Not a day went by where Amelia didn't talk about how much she loved her children and family -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. She definitely has a smile that you would never forget.

Amelia is survived by her loving husband Henry Trejo, her children, Maria Salinas, Priscilla and Tony Agirre, April Fuentez, Rene and Ellysa Fuentez, Henry Fuentez, stepchildren, Christina Lujan Miranda, Henry Lujan, Emily Trejo, also 34 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Amelia is also survived by her siblings Alicia and Jesse Munoz, Angel Fuentez and Mary Rodriguez, Aurora Garcia and Victor Vasquez, and Tony and Irma Fuentez. Amelia was predeceased by her parents Maria Esparza and Antonio Fuentez, sons Ismael Salinas and Ricardo Fuentez, daughter Rebecca Trejo, brother Agapito Fuentez, mother-in-law Natalia Trejo, father-in-law Domingo Trejo Sr, brothers-in-law's Domingo Trejo Jr, Adolpho Trejo, Edward Trejo Sr, and stepson Manuel Lujan.

A visitation for Amelia will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A visitation will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Santa Teresa Cemetery, 912 Buschong St, Houston, TX 77039.
