She was preceded in death by her parents, Modesta and Seferino Garcia; husband, Cruz Rodriguez; sons, Benito G. Rodriguez and Emilio G. Rodriguez; siblings, Octavio Garcia, Usebio Garcia, Andres Garcia, Gregorio Garcia, Trinidad Garcia, Abelardo Garcia, Elvira Luna, Catarina Ruiz; son-in-laws, Anthony D. Torres Jr. and Jesse C. Ramirez Sr.; daughter-in-laws, Marietta Rodriguez and Feliciana Rodriguez; granddaughters, Rosemary Rodriguez and Katherine Rodriguez; grandson, Arthur Rodriguez Jr.; great-grandson, Arthur Rodriguez III; great-granddaughter, Judith Rodriguez; grandsons, Salvador G. Rodriguez Jr. and Mark Anthony Rodriguez; great-great-granddaughter, Baby Amara Hogston; grandson, Baby Vincent Cruz Valdez; and great-great-grandsons; Baby David LoSoya Jr. and Baby Andrew Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children: Senaida Ramirez of Boling, Texas, Luciano C. Rodriguez and wife, Janie Rodriguez of Houston, Abelardo G. Rodriguez and wife, Mary Rodriguez of Houston, Salvador G. Rodriguez of Boling, Texas, Julia R. Torres of Houston, Debra K. Valdez and husband, Deacon David Valdez of Boling; sister, Anita Partida; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.

A visitation for Amelia will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary recited at 7:00PM, in the Grand Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.

A Liturgy Service will occur Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.

A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
