Alyssa Jovan Echavarria, born on May 11, 1998, in Houston, sadly passed away on May 10, 2023. She was a beloved resident of Cypress, known for her lifelong connection to the community. Alyssa attended Langham Creek High School and brought joy to everyone she encountered. Alyssa was the cherished child of Mark Echavarria and Suzette Garcia. She is survived by her loving parents, as well as her brothers Mark and Elijah, sister Breauna, and her grandparents Rev. Samuel Garcia and Ernest & Ida Echavarria. Although Alyssa was preceded in death by her grandmother Evangelina Garcia, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family.
Alyssa had a zest for life and found happiness in various pursuits. She had a keen interest in fashion, enjoyed working out, and found solace in cooking. However, music held a special place in her heart. Above all, Alyssa treasured her family deeply, and her absence will be profoundly felt.
Our family extends our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us in honoring Alyssa's memory. Your prayers, whether offered nearby or from afar, have touched us deeply. Each phone call and text message has provided much-needed comfort and support.
I believe the service encapsulated was everything that Alyssa would have desired and beyond. While Alyssa now rests in peace with our Lord and Savior, we must strive to live according to God's will in our hopes to reunite with her someday.
The sheer magnitude of love and support shown on Alyssa's behalf is something our family could never reciprocate fully, but please know we are immensely grateful.
We implore you to help keep Alyssa's memory alive in any way you can, even if it's as simple as speaking her name.
