Alvaro David Cortez

David Cortez passed away on February 6, 2014. He was born in Richmond, Texas on March 6, 1964 to Joe and Francisca Cortez. David was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He had a big heart and was always generous with whatever he had. Always the life of the party, he was always joking and laughing. Our family will greatly miss his presence. He is gone but will never be forgotten and we will always carry him in our hearts. He is predeceased by his parents, Francisca C. Velasquez and Joe Cortez, Jr. He is survived by stepmother Margaret Cortez, uncle Fidel Cerda, aunt Connie Carmona; his brothers, Leonel Cortez, Sr. and wife Sylvia, George H. Cortez; sisters, Juanita Beltran and husband Joe and Sylvia Joswiak and husband Jeffrey, several cousins, nieces and nephews wo adored him, and numerous friends that will greatly miss him.
