Alpha E. Nanez went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2020. She was born on July 4, 1956 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to parents Merced and Carolina Luna. Alpha worked as a public school teacher.
Alpha was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her three daughters: Laura Rodriguez and husband Hector, Leah Luedeker and husband Brandon, Lisette Colvin and husband, Matthew; five grandchildren: Braden Luedeker, Madeleine Luedeker, Andrew Rodriguez, Ava Rodriguez, and Jonathan David Colvin.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a Funeral Service on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
