Alonso Rodriguez Sanchez

Alonso was born to Guillermo Sanchez and Guadalupe Sanchez, August 5th, 1932, in Rancho La Escondida, Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He married Nicolasa Mancillas Sanchez in 1957 and they lived happily together in Houston, Texas where they raised 7 children.

He is survived by his wife, Nicolasa M. Sanchez and their 7 children, Guillermo Sanchez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Alonzo Sanchez Jr, Annadelia Sanchez, Ernesto Sanchez, Araseli Sanchez and Monique Sanchez Soraiz. He also leaves to cherish his memory 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

He was a loving husband and wonderful father and grandfather. He will be missed and loved forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Guadalupe Sanchez, his brother Eliseo Sanchez, his brother Raul Sanchez and his sister Dora Sanchez Almaguer.

Querido papa, Nunca olvidaremos los consejos que nos diste, la forma en que te reías y lo mucho que amabas a nuestra madre y a nosotros. Te amaremos y extrañaremos siempre. Gracias por ser el mejor padre.

A visitation for Alonso will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal will occur Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
