Alman Newton Coleman was born on January 16, 1959, in Hartland, St. Catherine, Jamaica, West Indies, to the late Arnold Coleman and Zilpha Coleman. Alman migrated to Houston, TX, in 1979 and joined the Armed Forces on January 14, 1980. He served in the Army National Guard for over 25 years. He also
worked for Armored Transport and Metro and later retired from Oldcastle Trucking.
Alman was called home on March 20, 2025.
He was married to Donna (preceded in death) and had two children, Quinton Coleman and Alman Coleman, Jr.
Alman leaves to cherish his memory: sons Quinton and Alman, Jr.; sisters Hazel, Delrose, and Enid; brothers Leon, Leroy, and Michael; nieces Marcia, Sandra, Coral, Jalesa, Alicia, Audrene, Allison, Michelle, Cynthia, Patrice, Demetria, Chante, LéKeitha, and Robin; nephews Mark, Wayne, Pierre, Karl, Alex, Joshua, Carl Jr., Quinton, and Alman Jr.; great-nieces Sydni, Jordan, Nicole, Brittany, and Christie; great-nephews Shawn, Michael, Jason, Justin, Brandon, Joshua (JT), and Trevin; cousins Regna, Rudy, Devin, Wayne, and Ryan; and a host of grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is also survived by sisters-in-laws Joan and Thelma, brother-in-law Winston, and a host of other relatives and friends.
