We are saddened by the loss of Alicia and have many memories of her and Juan while I was growing up.  Both Juan and Alicia have remained very dear friends to my parents, Manuel and Evilia Marquez,  and she will forever remain in my memories.  Until we meet again Alicia, you are never forgotten. 

Alice, I will never forget our trips to the casino. You and Juan, Jessie and me and Virginia. Win or lose we always had a lot of fun. Sometimes laughed so much I could hardly catch my breath.  And through it all you had a steady hand and got us home safe.
I will cherish our love and friendship as sister in laws.  For now it's not goodbye but see you later.

There are so many memories when we were growing up  that I will always cherish.   Alice was a Beautiful Sweet, Caring, and Loving Lady...  She will be Missed by all who Loved her... Alice was our neighbor and friend when we were growing up . There are so many memories when we were growing up that I will always cherish. I am so saddened about this. Alice  Virginia and Jesse are like family to me. She will be missed.  Rest In Peace my friend                

A nice lady, that you would have loved to have as a friend. I only met her once, but her reception of me and my daughters goes without saying. A Very Nice Person, who is now in God's hands resting. Bless her.

You came to my bed on the morning of your passing.  I sat up and we hugged and I was so happy.  But, then I felt you leaving my arms and I begged, please don't leave me.  You were gone and I watched you disappear.  Was it a dream or did you really come say good bye.  I cried when you left me and thought, please just one more minute.  This really happened to me, this was not a dream.  .  I am glad my sister came to my bedside and I got one last but very brief hug.  I can still feel her near me and I hope I always keep the feeling of our last heavenly/earthly hug.  I love you my sister, and I miss you so terrible.  My lump in my throat brings tears to my eyes.  I will miss our phone calls and sharing our children future.  I have so many photos and so many memories of you.  My heart is broken.  I love you forever and until we meet again.  

To our pleasant surprise, Alice attended our family reunion meeting two weeks ago. She was feeling better and said she bet she'd be up for making two cakes for the upcoming reunion! Now, she will be there in spirit only and remembered for all her contributions to past family gatherings and for her giving, fun-loving ways. 

There are just no words to describe the sorrow we feel at her passing. Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Juan, her sons, grandchildren, and siblings. Please know that she was loved and cherished by her extended family, relatives & friends. A bright light in our family tree, she will never be forgotten.
