Alicia Cantu

She was a hard-working woman who loved cooking, taking care of her plants and coloring or painting in her spare time. She loved her family and being called “Mama Licha”. She is survived by her children, Agapito Cantu, Jr and wife, Juanita; Humberto Cantu and wife, Hilda; Esthela Cantu Gonzalez and husband, Robert; Daniel Cantu; Diana Cantu; Ellie Cantu; Cesar Cantu and wife, Haydee; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Graciela Chavez and husband, Antonio; Juanita Tijerina. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband who passed in 2002, Agapito Cantu; her brother, Adam Huerta; sister, Eva Huerta; son, Juan Cantu and a daughter-in-law, Dora Cantu.

Our Lord Jesus has taken our mother into his arms for an eternal rest and joy until we reunite with her again. We thank God for giving us a forever loving ,giving ,caring and amazing mother that we will miss every moment of our life. She was a very strong leader, a hardworking women who loved cooking, gardening, painting, reading , loved her Family and helped raise her Grandchildren. Our Mother was the Pilar of our Family

Serving as pallbearers will be Agapito Cantu, Humberto Cantu, Daniel Cantu, Cesar Cantu, Javier Rodriguez and Charlie Varela.
