Mrs. Alice Faye Flowers-Youngblood was born on June, 24, 1952 to the proud parents Mr. Wille and Mrs. Bobbie J Flowers in Houston, Texas. She lived her early life in Lufkin, Texas. She was a native of Houston until her departure. She passed away peacefully on Monday, November, 14, 2022.
A Time To Live
She received her formal education from the Lufkin Independent School District and attended Dunbar High School. She was a Dunbar “A team” Cheerleader and an active member of the Yell group. On February 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to Larry P. Youngblood Sr. They share four beautiful children, 3 boys and one daughter. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and loyal friend. She was a homemaker, nanny and caregiver. She was a woman of faith and a true believer. She loved spending quality time with her family & friends. She was loved by many. Her hobbies were dancing, cooking, feeding everybody and having a good time, but most of all she loved laughing.
A Time Of Mourning
Alice was preceded in death by her maternal & paternal grandparents; father Willie Flowers, stepfather John W. Runnels Jr., 3 brothers Carl, Curtis & Robert Runnels, and her dear friends Ellis L. Harris, Karen Tate and Hazel Mc Daniel.
She leaves to mourn her cherished memories, her husband of 53 years, Larry P. Youngblood Sr., her children, Demetruis L. Youngblood (Vanessa), Angela R. Youngblood, Dameion J. Youngblood, & Larry P. Youngblood Jr. (Jade), her mother Bobbie J. Runnels, her sisters, Bobbie Flowers-Horace, Myrtle Flowers-Cooper, Linda Runnels-Ross, Sheila Runnels, Rosalind Runnels, Shirley Brown (Willie), Carolyn Brown, Saide Runnels, her brothers, David Runnels (Marilyn) and John W. Runnels III (Beverly), her special uncle David Williams, her grandchildren & great grandchildren, Godchildren, Felisa Kiel-Walker, Darvin Kiel, Gregory Winslow, Tameka Turner and ShaQuillia McQueen; A wealth of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, God given daughters & sons.
