Alice was my second Mom, she was a sweet and loving lady and I love her for always looking after me. I will miss her and will always remember her.

Alice and Walter were family and we shared many family occasions as the Curds and Waldrons were united through Scott and Barbara.   I am so very thankful for the precious time I got to spend with Alice in recent months.   I so enjoyed cooking for her and laughing over our lunches together.   Alice was a wonderful person with a deep devotion to family and friends.  I consider it a privilege to be able to call her Friend, and look forward to the day we will see each other again.  #untilwemeetagain 💙

I must accept that my cousin Alice has taken the Love and Sunshine she shared so generously with all of us to join her beloved Walt. Alice was the sister I never had as we shared so much of our early childhood in Houston. Every Sunday my mother, ‘Aunt Callie’ to Alice, prepared a big meal  after church and we spent the day together playing with neighborhood kids or tagging along with our mothers on their trips and visits with  Granny Tennie (Tullos) who lived in Manchester. 
Alice’s dad died suddenly with  a stroke when Alice was only about 4 years old. Then Alice and her mother, ‘Aunt Allie May,’ spent summers with her mother’s relatives  on a large farm in Ragley, Louisiana.  Alice learned to love farm life in Ragley. Her Uncle Tom taught her to run the tractor and care for the farm animals.  Since the loss of her lifelong love and helpmate, Walter, Alice continued to face  mobility challenges and life with a smile and  determination. 

We talked often on the phone recently. She always lifted my spirits on the grayest days in Oregon.

 Alice leaves all who knew her with a little less sunshine but great memories of a wonderful mother, unique friend and a dear cousin to me.

Alice will be greatly missed, she had such a sweet and kind spirit. Always eager to share a funny story. I will miss her beautiful smile and her laugh.  I know Jesus was happy to welcome her to her mansion were she will be dancing through each room with the love of her life...love you Alice

My mom was a lot like Will Rogers who was quoted "I never met a man I didn't like." The real difference was that anybody that ever met my mom...loved her, and she them. She always had enough love for anyone. She said " You can never have too many friends! " I'm blessed to have so many of them reaching out to me.  I try to be happy for her because I know she is so happy with our Lord, my dad, and all our family and friends who were there to welcome her to her forever home! I miss you more than you will ever know; but I know I will see you again when you, and everyone, welcome me there.

Alice was my second Mom.  I have known Alice since I was 12 years old.  I have so many memories of our families together in St. Croix and Houston.  We had many celebrations of birthdays and anniversaries throughout the years.
Alice had a laugh that made everyone happy.  With a kind and loving heart,  Alice would always greet me with her wonderful smile.  I loved Alice and I will miss her dearly........

 May the Great Love your Momma gave you (Kelly and Scott)  live in you always. Remember she and Daddy loved you first!  She was so very proud of her children, Grandsons  (Cameron and Kevin) and all her family members. She is such a Bright Star 💖 in all our hearts.  Alice loved everyone and had such a grace about her that you do not find in this world today. She will be truly missed and continue to be loved  in all our hearts 💕 I pray that you Alice (Mom) are having a grand time with your one and only Love Walter (Dad). I have known the Curds for over 20 years and they were always kind and friendly to me.  She will be misses by many of us.
