Alfred Torres Jr.

Alfred “Froggy” Torres, Jr., 83 of Houston, Texas was born October 11, 1939 in Houston, Texas to Alfred and Magdalena (Martinez) Sr. and passed away at his home on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He graduated from Milby High School in 1958 where he was a center for the football team, he received a degree in business management from Houston Community College and was an owner of R&A Building Construction Company. He enjoyed playing football, dominoes, golf and being with his family. He was a member of the San Pablo Trinity Presbyterian Church and attended when he could.

Alfred is survived by his children, Nicole Torres; Alfred Torres, III and Sonny Alvarez and wife, Olivia; grandson, Izik Torres and 4 other grandchildren; along with former wife, Damacia “Dee” Longoria and sisters, Erma Reyna (Rudy); Naomi Navarro (Manuel); Yolanda Lechuga (Jose) and brothers, Ray Torres and Armando Torres (Elida).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Magdalena Torres and his sister, Gloria Torres.

Memorial services will be held 10:00am, Friday, July 28, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo-Broadway, 4136 Broadway, Houston, Texas 77087.
