Alfonso Quiroz, born May 6, 1934 to Hilario and Guadalupe Quiroz in Houston, Texas, passed away December 22, 2010 in Spring, Texas. Mr. Quiroz was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Louis. He is survived by sons, Marcus Quiroz and Michael Quiroz and their mother, Janey Kaufman; brothers, Phillip, Rudy, David, and Manuel; sisters, Rosa, Angelita, Jo Ann, Josephine, Theresa, Pat, and Mary Ann, and by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where a vigil and rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Saint Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
