Alfonso Davila, 74 of Houston, Texas was born May 15, 1949 in Mexico to Jose Guadalupe and Francisca LeDesma Davila and passed away on September 27, 2023. He enjoyed singing and going fishing when he could and being with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Esmeralda Davila, his brothers, Oscar Davila and Jose Gilberto Davila; sisters, Maria Alvarez, Minerva Topete, Maria Mesa and Maribel Davila.
Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, whom he took care of before her passing in March of 2020; Minerva Davila; and his brother, Gerardo Davila. He is also preceded in death by a nephew, Jaime Topete.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, October 6, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo with burial following at Forest Park Lawndale. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00pm until 9:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Mesa, Carlos Alvarez, Timmy Topete, Omar Topete, Oscar Davila, Jr. and Eric Daniel Castro.
