Alexander "Alex" Navarro

Alex was a native Houstonian . After graduation from Reagan High School he served in the United States Marine Corps . Returning home after his service , Alex began his career with the US Postal Service where he worked for 45 years . He was recognized in 1998 by the US Postal Service with a Special Achievement Award . He later retired in 2006 .

Alex is survived by his sister Irene Briones and a host of relatives and friends .

A visitation is scheduled for Friday the 25th from 9:00am to 10:00am with funeral services beginning immediately following the visitation at 10:00am . Both services being held in the Colonial Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home . Burial will take place after services .
