I just found out about this tragic loss. I worked with Alex and ended up becoming great friends with him and unfortunately lost touch due to cell phone number changes. My heart breaks tonight knowing he's no longer with us. He was always positive and wanted the best for everyone around him. He will be missed.

I sure am sorry to hear this. I had some great talks with Alex. What a great man. Very sad. My prayers to his new wife, which he told me in his last days - was the light of his life, and his family and friends.

I am truly deeply saddened by the loss of Alex. Alex was a genuine, kind, caring man. Alex and I worked in the same industry. I could always count on him to help or just to understand my Cuban crazy moments. He taught me so much in such a short time. My heart is filled with sadness and I will be praying for your family. I was Alex neighbor for 4 years before I moved to California. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. Alex impacted the life of anyone who crossed his path. Alex, you will be missed. My deepest condolences go to his sister and his sweet niece who I know were so close to him, and to his family and friends.

I had not spoken to Alex in about 3-4 years.  Never have I been so affected by the loss of a person other than my own family. He was a funny, kind, and compassionate man. An awesome friend who lit up the room when he came through the door. We met him when he called on the Medical Clinic, several years ago. We became friends instantly. If we didn't get a chance to chat for a few months, when we did finally talk, we picked up where we left off. Never missing a beat. Kelli, and family, thank you for sharing such an amazing human being. He will truly be missed

About two years ago I was informed that a new representative would be taking over around the Lafayette territory here in Louisiana. It happens all the time. We didn't think much of it. Then I met Alex. And we all fell in love with him. I can't describe it. But we all knew he was special. I had a previous rough few years prior to that. I'm not sure how he found out but on my birthday in June he just showed up with a cake.  Just a sweet gesture from a thoughtful HONEST funny and kind man. My heart is heavy for all those who knew him on an even deeper level. I just can't imagine how heavy your hearts must be. So i speak for all of us all the way here in Lafayette Louisiana when I say Alex you touched all of our hearts and you will be greatly missed.

Listening to your song, Alex. Thinking of you... You are "A Sky Full of Stars". You are loved and missed beyond measure.

I grew up with Alex and he was always smiling and happy, he was as beautiful on the inside as he was on the outside.  Will continue prayers for the families.

That smile, that infectious laugh, & that formidable character that you don't find everyday.  These are just a few of the  traits of Alex that will certainly be missed, for now, until we all meet again.   To Kelli and family, my heart breaks for you and I pray for God to bless you with the peace that passes all understanding.

Few are the spirits whose joy is as genuine and infectious as his, and he spread it around in pandemic proportions. Thank you for leaving that legacy to us. My thoughts and prayers are with those to whom joy seems foreign. You will feel it again, and sooner than you think.

My deepest condolences to Alex's family. I have worked with Alex these past years and every time he came by it was a breath of fresh air. His open and fun personality lit up the office like no other. He was part of our team and is a huge loss to all of us.

I met "Uncle Alex" and had the opportunity to know him through the eyes of his cherished niece, Julia.  A hero, mentor, friend, father-figure, buddy in laughter and pranks...in other words; the most amazing uncle ever!
