It is with deep sorrow and sadness to say that our beloved, Alex Pozo, passed away while in the hospital on January 17, 2021. He was surrounded by his family on that day as he left to be with our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
Alex Pozo, was 47 years old and was born on September 27, 1973 in El Salvador. To those that knew him and loved him, and befriended him, he became to be known as “Tego.”
During his childhood, he loved to play sports and spent a lot of time on a basketball court with his family and friends. He enjoyed music and spent a lot of time on the beach with his closest childhood friends driving up and down the Galveston sea wall. He was unselfish and would sacrifice his time for his family or friends growing up and would go out of his way to please others. As an adult he loved to travel and visiting new places when he could. He always wanted to make others happy.
Alex was a hard worker who enjoyed life, family, and friends. He dedicated his life to his family, five children, and two grandchildren. He was a humble person who was giving and loving to others around. Alex was quick with a joke and friendly smile. He was welcoming and kind to strangers and loved ones. He loved to dance and enjoyed a good bar-b-q surrounded by family and friends. Alex was close with the people he was surrounded with and left a lasting impression that will never be forgotten.
Alex is survived by his parents, Jose and Marina Carballo, siblings, Mario, Judy, and Jaquelin, wife Alejandra Cebreros, children Christian, Alexis, Joshua, Alizay, and Layla, Grandchildren, Liam and Uriah.
