1951-2015
Alberto Ramirez, 63, of Houston, TX passed away October 22 after he lost his battle with cancer. Alberto "Albert" grew up in Houston where he studied at the U of H and earned his Masters in Education. He worked as a principal at Milby High School and Stevenson Elementary School. He went on to become a great Algebra teacher and taught at Mac Arthur High School. Alberto enjoyed singing in the church choir and went on to sing with Opera in the Heights. Singing was one of his favorite things to do besides going to the casinos with his friends. He loved his great nephews and nieces very much. If anyone ever needed any help he would do anything and everything he could to help them. He liked to make people laugh. He enjoyed traveling with family and the choir. He was a member of St. Mary Men's choir and the Archdiocese choir of Galveston/Houston as well as Houston Master Works. He is survived by his niece Elizabeth Medina Tran Nephew Andrew Medina. Visitation will take place at the Forest Park on Lawndale 6900 Lawndale St. October 28 at 5 p.m. followed by the rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral services will be held on October 29 at St. Pius V Catholic Church 812 Main St. in Pasadena, TX at 11 a.m.
