After the Loss of his Wife, Gloria Alcaraz, Alberto Alcaraz Married Maria Haydee Alcaraz and lived a very happy life during the 7 years they shared.
During Alberto Alcaraz’s lifetime, Alberto was dedicated to the church, Church of the Living God, Ground and Pillar of the Truth, The Light of The World Church, Central. During his spiritual career in the church, he helped in the Labor with the church in Nacogdoches, Magnolia, Port Arthur and Louisiana. He evangelized families and helped them come to the Light. He accompanied the Apostle of God, Samuel Joaquin Flores in a tour to Veracruz. He made himself available for the Apostle of God and found blessings in picking up the Apostle of God from the airport and dropping off the Apostle of God at the airport when he departed Houston. When he heard the Apostle of God was coming to Houston, he prepared a home that he purchased and got it ready for the Apostle of God to use. He watched and cared for the Brother Naason Joaquin Garcia, prior to him being called to Apostleship, and provided him with a room in his home so that Bro. Naason would have a place to stay during his education time here in Houston. He was enlisted in the local laborers group of the church and went visiting the families to invite them to church and speak of the things of God. He joined the choir in the church to accompany his wife, Haydee Alcaraz. He would clean the around the church flowerbeds, helped in the fundraisers and even helped make Tamales for the sales.
Alberto Alcaraz, loved his wife and his Family and taught us to work hard, to be clean, and to Serve God over all things!
We were blessed to have had him as our Father and Haydee was blessed to have had him in her life the last few years of his life. Per Haydee, she learned what true, unconditional love was having been married to Alberto Alcaraz.
A visitation for Alberto will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, immediately followed by the Committal at 12pm.
