They relocated and resided in Houston, TX for the past 50 years where Al and Patricia made their home.
Pastor Al served our Lord Jesus Christ for more than thirty years and with Patricia founded Faith Healing Ministries church.
Pastor Al was devoted to the Lord to the very end. He ministered to the staff at the Rehab facility, and prayed for the patients, nurses, aids, and his visitors.
Pastor Al is survived by his two children Yvette Smith, Al M. Garcia III & wife Tara, numerous nieces, and nephews.
Al and Yvette wish to express their gratitude to their sisters and brothers in Christ:
• Yolanda Garcia who was Pastor Al’s caregiver for many years; he cared for her and her family very much.
• Marina Barahona for being so devoted, visiting Dad and loving him like a father.
• Pastor’s Edgar & Juanita Wilches for their devotion to the Lord and support for Pastor Al.
• Yaneth Poo, Sandra Patel, Yolanda Garvida and Harvey Anzaldua who visited in the morning and evening after work and weekends.
• Our church family who visited Dad these past four month in the Hospital and Rehab facility, many who traveled from afar to visit.
Pastor Al had a servants’ heart and never met a stranger. When you spoke to him, he made you feel like you were the most important person at that moment. He is deeply loved and will be missed by his family and church family.
Pastor Al has Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
