Agnes M. Halliburton

Agnes Maggie Halliburton (nee Gabriel), lifelong resident of Houston, TX, passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 95. Agnes proudly served Woolworth's Company for 42 years until her retirement in 1994.

Agnes was preceded in death by her son, Richard and loving husband of 51 years, Edward "Gene" Halliburton, her mother, Regina Hoffart, and father, Nicodemus "Nick" Gabriel as well as her 7 brothers and 4 sisters: Sister Mary Jordan Gabriel, Joseph Gabriel, Mary Walzel, Frank Gabriel, Jacob Gabriel, Magdalene Van Metre, Albert Gabriel, William Gabriel, Cecelia Rice, Lawrence Gabriel, and Martin Gabriel. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Agnes was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Catholic Church when she passed. She was previously a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Thursday July 27, 2023, at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Rosary at 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM to be followed by interment at Brookside Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory and Cemetery.
