He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Brussels, Belgium earning a National Defense Service Medal and Marksman Achievement (Rifle-M16A1). He married Gloria Salas on September 09, 1972. He worked for over 38 years as an Journeyman Lineman for HL&P/CenterPoint Energy. He loved get-togethers with family and woodworking. Most days you could catch him watching Houston Astros games or Ancient Aliens. His proudest moments were his military service, over 50 years of marriage, raising a family, and enjoying retirement.
He will lovingly be missed and remembered by his wife Gloria Razo, his daughter Melissa Mireles, his sons Ivan Razo and wife Lily Razo, Adrian Razo, and Rudy Razo. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Christian Mireles, Caitlin Mireles, Andrew Razo, Nicholas Razo and his sisters Janie Marin and Lupe Gobea.

A visitation and Rosary for family and friends will take place on Sunday April 23, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home with the Rosary beginning at 7:00PM. The funeral mass will be held on April 24, 2023 at 10:00AM at St. James Catholic Church, 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd Spring, TX 77373. He will be laid to rest at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy Houston, TX 77039.
