I have tried so many times to add mine to the guest book and I hope I make a good tribute to the best dad ever. It has been so hard without you and I know that you are in a much better place and no longer in pain.

 My dad was a very strong man, growing up he taught me so much about life. He was strict and I thank him for that, because of this he taught me respect and made me a better person.  He always worked very hard to take care of his family! I will never forget all the times we had together going fishing, camping, playing cards, watching boxing, football, baseball and cooking as a family. I will always hold him in my heart and in GOOD memories for loving all his children, wife, family and friends. I love you daddy and you will live forever in my heart and for all the love and care giving you gave to all! You loved with your whole heart and gave all you could to make life better for all of us. I have nothing but wonderful memories to carry with me forever.

Ruby, we are going to miss seeing AG outside working in the yard.  It was always a pleasure talking and hearing his funny little jokes..  He was the most pleasant person and always eager to lend a helping hand.

Ruby and Kids,

A.G was such a wonderful man. He will remain in my heart forever. I have so many childhood memories with your family.
My prayers thoughts and love are with you all.

You will be missed. You were a loving Father and GrandPaw. You were like family to me. I loved you and  Ruby. Missed seeing your Grand Children. Your going to another beautiful  home. Where you will see the rest of your family. May God take care of all the Shelton's .You will be not forgotten by your friends and me.

Condolences to the family, on A. G.'s passing. Had the pleasure to work with A. G. a number of times at the brewery. He was always willing to show his skills and pass them along to the younger guys.

I will always remember AG n his love for flowers- the last time we were there - He showed us so many, n also a " Thorn Tree", which neither Rob or I had ever seen. Although, I didn't get to see him much, I kept up with him ( n Ruby)thru my Best Friend Lisa. I know your hearts r saddened and in void, but Time will heal- Not that we forget, but remembering will become easier. Love to AG's Beautiful Family and the Legacy he leaves will be forever!

Moma Ruby and Family,  I just want to say I am so very sorry. 
I enjoyed playing cards with you mom and dad and I so blessed to be a partof this wonderful family. I love sitting and listening to dad about the years yall enjoyed together and listening to the music he played and talked about on his Ipad. Love listening about how he enjoyed fishing. He loved his family and friends dearly. He will be missed by many, but he will forever be in our hearts. 
We will look upon the stars and know we have another Angel looking down from above.

 Sorry to hear of your loss, eventually all of the pain and hurt will subside and you will be left with all of the wonderful memories of the life that you made together. I know Mom was there waiting on him to show him around heaven and introduce him to new friends. Love yall and you will be in our prayers.

It's not always easy to understand nor accept where our life is right now but the main thing to remember is that God knows exactly where He wants us!!!

When he shall die, take him and cut him out into the stars, and he shall make the heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with the night and pay no worship to the garish sun.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
