Friday, April 11, our family lost a loving father, son, brother, uncle and grandson when our Adrian was killed in a tragic accident. Adrian Garcia was born May 25, 1978, to proud parents Leo and Grace Garcia, in Houston, Texas. His childhood was a happy one, full of bike rides, playing with neighborhood friends, tagging along after his big brother and family get togethers. Adrian's teenage years saw him involved in sports at Milby High School, where he played both football and baseball. Soon after graduation, Adrian met Monalisa, and the two fell in love and had a beautiful baby boy! Adrian Junior was the pride and joy of his daddy. There was never a day that he didn't hug and kiss his son, and tell him how much he loved him. Many years later, Adrian and Monalisa parted ways, but remained friendly and worked together to make sure their son was loved and cared for. In 2008, Adrian and Juliet met each other, and three years into their relationship, they were surprised to find out they were expecting twins. As with Junior, not a day went by that daddy didn't express to his girls how much he loved them. Delila and Sabrina would watch out the window for daddy, waiting for treats and tickles. Until the day he died, he would come home to two little girls running to meet him at the door with hugs and kisses. Adrain should be admired for his loving heart, and his ability to accept two additional members, Juliet's daughters, into his family after he and Juliet began their lives together. He treated Carley and Beth with the same loving care as he did his own children, never failing to greet them with a kiss on the forehead whenever they came in from school. He was fair, generous, loving, funny and extremely talented in the arts. His ability to create art in so many ways will be dearly missed in our home, at the shop, and at dinner time. Anyone who knew Adrian knows that if you showed up near dinner time and he was in the kitchen, it was in your best interest to stay for an outstanding meal. He loved to sing, to dance and he enjoyed playing the guitar and the accordion. Adrian is survived by his son, Adrian Junior, his twin daughters Delila and Sabrina and their mother Juliet, his step-daughters Carley and Beth, his loving mother and father Grace and Leo, his older brother Leo Junior and children Brittney and Gabrielle, his grandmother and grandfather, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Adrian will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
