Ada Ruth Woods

Adas Woods, age 82, passed away at her residence August 17, 2023. She left behind seven kids: Jerry Woods, Billy Woods, Ellery Woods, Leroy Woods, Alonzo Woods, Delphin Woods and Sonia Woods; thirteen grandchildren: Jasper Woods, James Joiner, Tyiesha Woods, Jamia Joiner, Demond Woods and so forth, and two great-granddaughters Gianna Joiner and Elissa Woods.

Ada Woods was born in Shepherd, Texas on October 23, 1940 to the parents of Pauline Thomas and Zander Pace. Ms. Ada Woods attended Dixion School which was located in Shepherd.

She was known for her strong support and enthusiasm. Ada was a very hard working lady, she worked for the Aldine Independent School District for years being light to their cafeteria. She also did a superior job working for daycares and shedding her outstanding love to children. Sh was a God-fearing woman and was a member of Living God Non-Denominational Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Margie Pace and Myra Pace and a brother, Horace Pace.

Ada leaves to cherish her loving memories her siblings, Pat Pace, Wesley Pace, Ernest Pace, Zander Pace, Sunny Pace, and Kathy Pace, and a host of other relatives and friends.
