Abb Rayburn Allen, 77, of Spring, Texas gained his angel wings on February 27, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Diboll, Texas on July 3, 1942 to John Marshall and Myrtaline (Drennan) Allen. Abb was a graduate of Hudson High School and later went on to complete an associate degree in real estate. He found great success as a real estate appraiser prior to retirement.
When not working, Abb loved watching Nascar racing, going dancing, spending time fishing, cruising out of Galveston to various international locations and being an active member of Spring Baptist Church. Above all else, Abb cherished spending time with his family.
Abb was preceded in death by his parents John and Myrtaline Allen; brother Robert Allen and sister Betty Musick.
His memory will live on through the love of his life of thirty-six years, Jo Ann Allen; beloved children Angela Hoover (Brant Saunders), Michael Allen, Margie Ratterman (Gene) and Tammy Morris (Kevin Semple); loving grandchildren Brandy Horton (Melissa), Veronica Dolgener (Garry), Kenneth Hoover, Kody Morris and Kyle Morris; great-grandchildren Garry, Tristan and Victoria Dolgener; as well as siblings Mary Jo Barge, Lillie Bean, John Allen (Jon) and David Allen (Debbie); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home in the Chapel at 9am on Tuesday, March 2, 2020, with Funeral Services starting promptly at 10am. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
