Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 13841 E. Main Street in Larose, LA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Audry Lewis Jackson; sons, Thomas Y. Jackson (Veronica), Tyrone Williams, Ashley Williams (Stephanie), Quentin Williams and Brandon Williams; daughters, Troyelene J. Wallace (Gerry), J'Anise Williams and Sherri Jenkins; twenty grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Rev. Cleophus Jackson, Sr. (Lillian); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jane J. Daniels; great grandchild, Kyrah Jane Shepherd; parents, Rev. Ernest and Alma Harkless Jackson; brothers, Ernest, Enoch and Cornelius Jackson; paternal grandparents, Frank and Hattie Screws Jackson; maternal grandparents, Dave and Louise Anderson Harkless.
