Shirley Joshua Shepherd age 74, a resident of Jefferson, La., died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 12:45 AM at Canon Hospice in Jefferson, La Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory; her three daughters, Debbie Edmonds of Kenner, La., Lisa Phillips of Minden, La and Kathy Brock of Fort Polk, La., one son, Anthony Brown of New Orleans; four sisters, Irma Westley of New Orleans, Gladys Perro and Alma Jacko both of Charenton, La., and Myrtle Randle of Houston, Tx; two brothers, Anthony Joshua and Lionel Joshua both of Houston, Tx; ten grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
