Ronald "Darryl Maize" Scott, 66, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 8:00 AM until funeral service at 10:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel 230 S. Hollywood Road Houma, LA. The burial will follow in the Crescent Farm Cemetery in Houma, LA.
Ronald is survived by his daughter; LaShawn McKinley and brothers; Zack Scott; Steven Nixon; Allen Nixon (Wanda) and Corey Nixon. Sisters; Delores Thomas (George); Debra Nixon Boyd (Joe); girlfriend, Julie Courteaux; five grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Caldwell Maize, mother, Mary Adams Scott; brothers, Leroy Scott, Caldwell Maize, Irving Maize, and Donald Scott; and his sisters, Mary Lee Scott and Brenda Lee Scott.
