Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City, LA., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Rodney leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Lois Mingo Hayes of Morgan City, LA; a son, Kelton Peyton of Patterson, LA; three brothers, Sylvester "POP" Hayes of Lake Charles, LA., Ronell Hayes and Travis Hayes both of Morgan City, LA; a sister, Sharenda Hayes of Morgan City, LA., and a host of relatives and friends.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Hayes, Jr., a brother, Derrick "Yak" Hayes, his grandparents, Gussie Dixon and Sylvester Hayes, Sr., a uncle, Milton Hayes.
