Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at New St. Matthews Baptist Church, 3966 Hwy 311 in Houma. Burial will follow in Crescent Farm Cemetery.
She is survived by her devoted companion Robert Nevis, Sr.; sons, Patrick (JoAnn) McGuire, Shawn McGuire and Chad (Karen) McGuire; daughters, Melinda and Tiffany McGuire nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; godchildren Trudy Turner and Jonathan Bateast and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Sims and Berwick McGuire, Sr.; brothers, Berwick, Jr., Robert, Sr. and Milton McGuire, Sr.; sisters, Amy Woolens, Adele Ballard, Olivia Francis and Maisie Bateast.
