Olivia G. Ledet

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the First Jerusalem Baptist Church 835 Monnot Rd. Jeanerette, LA 70544, from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. with Reverend Ivory Ledet, Jr. officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery of Jeanerette.

Many cherished and divine memories of Mrs. Ledet will forever be remembered by her six sons, Ivory Ledet, Jr. (Izetta), Thomas Ledet and Darrell Ledet all of Jeanerette, LA, Sherman Ledet, Sr. (Sally) and Michael Ledet, Sr. (Brenda) both of Morgan City, LA and Davy Ledet, Sr. (Alicia) of Yucon, OK; six daughters, Sedonia Alexander of Jeanerette, LA, Gertrude Madise of Morgan City, LA, Geraldine Glover of Monroe, LA, Shirley Joseph (Arthur) of Lafayette, LA, Gloria Francis (Wilbert) of Conroe, TX and Lucy Ogbamah (Josmaibi) of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Margie Mae Turner and Sybil Charles (Harold) both of Morgan City, LA; three brothers, Joseph Gash and Ernest Gash both of Morgan City, LA and Herman Gash of El Paso, TX; thirty-six grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Olivia was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Gertie Gash, Sr.; five brothers, Willie Gash, Wilfred Gash, Sr., Whitney Gash, Wilbert Gash, Jr. and Paul Gash and one granddaughter, Andrea Ledet.
