Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, LA., from 10:00AM until mass service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Melissa leaves to cherish her memories; her parents, Leo, Sr. and Rosa Sam Prince both of Patterson, LA; a son, Jarvis Tarleton of Metairie, LA., a daughter, Jada Tarleton of Houma, LA; two brothers, Demetrice Prince of London, Ohio and Leo Prince, Jr., of New Iberia, LA; two sisters, Cynthia Prince of Patterson, LA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Jalisa Nico, Leah Prince, MaKayla Prince, Dreaux Prince and Teylor Prince; great nephew; Levi Rosette.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee and Cora Prince and Virgie and Marvin Sam; uncles Joe Sam and Paul Prince; aunts, Wilda Prince and Audrey Prince; cousins, Poochie Sam and Antionette Owens.
