Joseph Bias, 66, a resident of Bayou Vista, LA passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2024 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2023 at the Word of Life Family Life. Burial will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.
He is survived by his two sons, Timothy (Delissa) Tyrone Merritt and Darrell (Brandi) Merritt; two stepchildren, Paulette Merritt and Timmie Lee Merritt; two sisters, Elizabeth Griffin and Kim Byers; and one brother, Timothy Byers, five grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Byers, Sr. and Mary Viola Griffin and a brother, Clarence Byers, Jr.
