Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Smith, Sr. and Ora Lee Matthews Smith; son, Veco Deon Halloway; grandparents, Harrison Smith and Thelma Jones Smith and Willie Matthews and Gertie Aitkens Matthews; brother, Quinton Smith and a brother-in-law, Reginald Fletcher.
