Edwina R. Washington, age 88, a native of Metairie, La., and a resident of Patterson, La. , died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City at 6:35 PM. Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Edwina leaves to cherish her memories; four brothers, George (Rose) Dewey, Ervin Dewey and Oscar Dewey all of Patterson, La., and Fleming Seymour of Arzonia; two sisters, Geneva Riles of New Iberia, La., and Wardrena Griffin of Patterson, La; a host of relatives and friends.Preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Alberta Seymour.
