A visitation for Eddie will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Jones Funeral Home, 230 S. Hollywood Rd, Houma, Louisiana 70360. A funeral service will be on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Kingdom Hall, 1830 Prospect Blvd., Houma, LA 70363.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Ethel Moore, two sons, Charles Moore, and Troy Matthews, one daughter, Tammy Theriot, one brother, Ab Moore, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchildren, other family members, Grace Matthews, Nelly Ruffin, Cora Neville, Betty Matthews, Diana Collins, Alfred Collins, Holly Christian, Viola Christa, Jacqueline Leblanc, Louise Matthews and James Mazink, one brother-in-law, Gene Austin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Moore, Sr., his mother, Rose Smith, his sister, Margarite Austin.
